By accessing or using BestSettingsFor.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BestSettingsFor.com is a community platform where users can discover, share, and vote on display settings (presets) for monitors and TVs. The Service allows registered users to submit presets, comment on others' presets, and vote on content.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Choose a username that does not contain profanity or impersonate others
  • Keep your password secure and not share your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (presets, comments). By submitting content you grant BestSettingsFor.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights and complies with these Terms. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post spam, misleading, or deliberately false display settings
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise automatically collect data from the Service without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or rate limits
  • Impersonate any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The BestSettingsFor.com name, logo, and site design are the property of Gagandeep Malhotra. User-submitted content remains the property of the submitting user, subject to the licence granted in Section 4.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings page. Upon deletion, your public content may be anonymised rather than fully removed to preserve the integrity of community discussions.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that display settings shared on the platform will be suitable for your specific hardware or use case. Use community presets at your own discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BestSettingsFor.com and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on user-generated content.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when changes are made.
